Rawls MSA at Texas Tech University

Juris Doctor/MSA

The joint program combining the Doctorate of Jurisprudence and a Master’s of Science in Accounting (JD/MSA) is specifically designed to integrate the College of Business Administration’s strong taxation program with the reputable School of Law. The JD/MSA follows the same guidelines as those mentioned for the JD/MBA. However, in addition to the 24-advanced MSA credit hours, there are 43 credit hours of business and accounting tool courses required. Students with an Accounting undergraduate degree will not be required to enroll in these tool courses providing they received adequate grades in comparable courses. This program is especially attractive to students interested in specializing in tax law.
